Happy New Year

As I sit in my warm house drinking hot tea, I am filled a sense of true happiness. I have been blessed with a loving husband, healthy and happy child, a plethora of pets, and lots of friends and family that truly love me. I couldn't imagine my life without them. I thank the good Lord for blessing my life, and allowing me to be here on this first day of 2013.

I am thankful...for the roof over my head and the heaters in each room keeping my family warm

In the kitchen...I am making organic eggs and hash browns for breakfast

I am creating...my menu plan for January

I am going...to the store to use up as many coupons as I can that will expire today

I am wondering...about ways I can save in our budget for our trip to Lego Land in 2013

I am hoping...it warms up soon.

I am looking forward to...the new year starting

I am learning...that God has placed each person I have in my life - in my life for a reason.

Around the house...I see dog hair...its winter, this is my season off of sweeping up pooch hair!

I am pondering...when to start my veggie garden in 2013

Cleaning Elves

I'm extremely behind on my chores this week. I have allowed a generous four days to spend with family, but now I must start cleaning. Me in laws are coming this weekend, and now I'm in a mad dash to place every check mark on that sidebar. If only I could magically turn my 4 dogs into little cleaning elves...a girl can dream! :)
