My Little Pink Kitchen!

Ok, so here is a little info on my kitchen.

The walls and cabinets used to be dark brown. YUCK!
Keep in mind my house was built in the 70's!
We painted them a few years ago and we love how bright it is now.
We put new counter tops on and a new stainless steel sink.
We will eventually change all the cabinet hardware to make then match.
It's just not a necessity right now.

Why Pink??
I love pink and since I am the one in there cooking and cleaning all day,
my husband said I could have any color I wanted! He is so sweet!!


On the fridge you see the word PEACE.
It is there to remind us to be kind at all times.
Do you see the butterfly below the counter top??
There used to be 2 there. My son ripped the other one off.
Then when I went to reattach it, I dropped it and it broke!
I am still searching for another one to replace it.


I have my candles against the wall by the stove.
And the lonely banana in the wire basket.
We eat a lot of bananas!!
My coffee/tea pot is always on.
And there always seems to be a cup of tea on the counter!
And I have my good friend 'Mr Pressure Cooker' there too.
I would be in the kitchen for hours on end if I didn't have him.

And that is a tour of my little 30 year old pink kitchen.
Yes, there are thoughts of having a big kitchen one day,
but I am happy with what God has given me right now!!
