Our New Puppy
About 3 months ago my husband told me about a puppy that someone he worked with was trying to give away. I told him I wasn't ready for another dog (my Yorkie passed away 2 years ago at the age of 12.). Then 2 weeks ago he surprised me with the puppy!
He is 9 months old, and 6 pounds. Sadly we are his 4th family. I felt so bad for him. The previous homes said he was a handful and they couldn't take care of him. Ummm, hello, he's a puppy!!!!!! That's what puppies are..... a handful!! If you want a laid back dog, go to the humane society and get an adult or elderly dog....not a puppy. So...he is now ours...forever!!
He joins our two 5 year old shepherds, and 2 1/2 year old rat terrier. They are all a pack and have their pecking order. Surprisingly, the puppy is the only male and was sent to the back of the line by all the girls!! He has been overruled!! Oh well, they all get along great, so if he is happy being last, then it works for us!
I got him into the vet today and he got Rabies shot, heart test, and flea control. We are good to go for now. Next month we will have him neutered. SNIP SNIP!!
I will post more pictures soon!!
