Day 1 - Power 90 Weight Loss Challenge
Day 1 Journal
I almost didn't start today! I woke up tired and for a moment said "maybe tomorrow". Then, I looked at the clothes in my closet I can no longer wear, and changed my mind!
I did 20 minutes of the 30 minute workout video. My legs were burning so bad, I just couldn't go anymore. There was no rest time in between sets. Now I know why they say you will lose weight. It's a constant flow of cardio movement!!
What I have been eating today:
Breakfast - 1 cup oatmeal with brown sugar
Snack - 8 baby carrots with ranch dip
Lunch - 1 can tuna fish with olive oil and a few croutons
Snack - 1 small apple
Dinner - 1 chicken thigh, 1 cup mashed potato's, and 1 cup cream corn
Snack - 1 cup of sunflower seeds
What I have been drinking today:
2 cups of water before breakfast
1.5 cups of hot decaf tea with breakfast
1 can Mug Rootbear with lunch
2 cups of water with afternoon snack
1.5 cups of hot decaf tea with dinner
2 cups of water with evening snack
Due to all the liquids I have been drinking, I am surprisingly not hungry! The down side...I have been taking potty breaks all day!!
What am I challenged with: I crave sugary and salty snacks. That is my weakness. If I can control what food I eat during snack time, I will definitely lose weight.
