This year I will be celebrating 10 years of marriage. And as I sit back and think about the last 10 years I realize that our marriage could be so much more. Not that it is bad. We have just planted ourselves in the hum drum roll of today's husband and wife. He goes to work, I stay home and home school our child, he comes home, we eat dinner, and we retire for the evening. Nothing exciting, just the same old boring us. I want to change that. And I plan to!!

We have date night every Friday, and usually we just stay home, watch a movie, and fall asleep. I have been planning some fun things like outings that cost nothing but the gas in the car to get there. If I want my marriage to be more fun, I have to plan it. My husbands works very hard and doesn't have time to plan these kinds of things. But I do!!

So, this will be the year of fun and excitement!
