Good Saturday Morning To Ya

I had a great Birthday dinner last night. We went to the grocery store for our weekly trip and my husband bought me some Publix chicken, potato salad, carrot salad, and an Edwards Chocolate Silk pie! Don't get me wrong, we had plans to eat out at a nice place, but with $ low, and the storm, we decided to eat in. It was just nice to spend a nice quiet birthday with my hubby! We then watched a movie and some TV.

And what did I get for my birthday??? My son made me some some pretty beeswax candles. He makes me something for Christmas and my birthday every year. Those beat a store bought gift any day!

I woke up this morning and prodded the dogs to go out. I skipped my morning coffee and decided on black tea. It has been a while since I had made any, so I did. Good choice! Then I woke my husband for work, and made him some eggs for breakfast. He loves it when I make him breakfast!

I have a few errands to run today since I was stuck at home half the week with storm Fay. I have to pick up some books at the Library for school next week, I have to get dog food, and pick my son up from my parents house.

Then I plan to get some chores done, and do some reading with my son.
