The Simple Womens Daybook

FOR TODAY September 1 , 2008...

Outside My Window...the sky is gray

I am thinking... about the soon to be hurricane Hanna that is currently planning her Friday arrival

I am thankful for... all the things God has given me

From the kitchen... I smell my new Glade Apple Cinnamon air freshener

I am wearing... a long olive green jumper dress with a black shirt underneath

I am creating... some room in my house today (my declutter challenge starts today! Check it out here)

I am going... to Church Wednesday Night

I am reading... America's Cheapest Family

I am hoping... that the Hanna changes course and doesn't come to my house!

I am hearing... the dishwasher running

Around the house...I have little sticky notes to indicate places I need to clean for my challenge

One of my favorite things... is cuddling up with a 'just out of the dryer' blanket

A Few Plans For The Rest of the Week: home school, house work, declutter challenge, Blogger Homeschool, and tracking Hanna

Here is a picture thought I am sharing...

I enjoyed reading your Daybook entry. I'm a fellow Floridian also hoping that Hanna steers away from us! Have a great week!
Blessings,

We are keeping an eye on Hanna as well. You never know what these systems will do (as we found out with Hurricane Jeanne which was headed out into the Atlantic, then made a loop and came back in on FL). I am hoping this one makes a big turn and heads out into the Atlantic with no threat to anyone.

What a lovely blog you have---I love your chore list in the sidebar! I enjoyed your Daybook entry too and am off to read about your decluttering challenge (to get ideas about how I can do one of my own!). Have a wonderful week!

I hope the hurricane misses you! Hurricane season is one of the times I am happy to live in the north.

America's Cheapest Family? I'd either totally enjoy it and get lots of ideas, or I'd be carrying around a big load of self-condemnation around. I'll have to check it out.

May hanna stay away

Hope Hanna dies out for you. Stay safe.

Praying that all my friends in Florida and up the eastern seaboard stay safe with this latest hurricane threat. I'll be checking out your de-clutter challenge here soon, I could stand to do some of that around here.
